Building Consultancy team welcomes three new hires

Gerald Eve, a Newmark company, has announced a trio of new senior hires, with Andrew Reed, Edward Wilson and Oliver Nicholson joining the Building Consultancy team.

For the past 15 years, Andrew has worked in valuations, specialising in undertaking both reinstatement and depreciated replacement cost assessments for insurance and financial reporting purposes. Prior to joining Gerald Eve, Andrew spent seven years at Rushton International, working internationally and across numerous sectors. Andrew also worked at GVA (now Avison Young) in both the Building Consultancy department, and in the Valuations department’s specialist Energy and Waste Management team.

Edward will join the firm from Colliers with 15 years of experience in central London office building project management. He has worked as the designated technical adviser for an international investor client for a decade, playing a pivotal role in various acquisitions, including The Adelphi Building and The Post Building in London, along with a number of acquisitions in Scotland. In his new role, Edward will be working closely with Gerald Eve’s Planning team, helping clients navigate changing market dynamics, including decisions around retrofit and demolition, and landlords’ changing requirements in the wake of the expansion of the serviced office sector.

With 10 years’ experience specialising in daylight, sunlight and rights of light matters, Oliver joins Gerald Eve from GIA. His experience encompasses a number of notable projects, including a number of towers in the City Cluster, and Oval Village on behalf of the Berkeley Group. At Gerald Eve, Oliver will be leveraging existing expertise within the firm, particularly the Asset Management, Planning & Development and Valuation teams to facilitate risk mitigation, value protection or enhancement across client portfolios.

“As we continue to grow our business in response to client requirements, we are pleased to welcome Andrew, Edward and Oliver as senior hires in our Building Consultancy team. Our people are our greatest asset and the influx of talented people to Gerald Eve is testament to the investments we are committed to making in our team and the services we offer to our clients.”

Simon Prichard, Senior Partner, Gerald Eve

“We offer an exceptional environment for talented people and I look forward to helping Ed, Oliver and Andrew succeed as we continue to grow our service offering to existing and new clients.”
