Whilst conducting a property inspection, a Partner discovered evidence of Modern Slavery in one of the buildings.
Knowing the signs and the threat to those held captive, they immediately reported it to the highest level in the business to prompt a formal enquiry, led by authorities. Their swift actions and integrity, and the efficient handling by the authorities resulted in assistance for the victims. Modern Slavery training is undertaken annually by all professional staff, in the knowledge that social stewardship is a critical part of working in the built environment.
