I’m a partner in our Planning and Development department based in the West End. I specialise in advising on land assembly, valuation and compensation for regeneration and infrastructure projects across the UK.
I act on behalf of acquiring authorities in acquiring land either in advance of compulsory purchase or following the service of statutory notices. My acquiring authority clients include Birmingham City Council, Borough of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, City of Westminster Council, Chrisp Street Developments Limited / Poplar HARCA, London Borough of Brent, London Borough of Lambeth, and Transport for London. I also act for claimants in the submission and negotiation of compensation claims against High Speed Two (HS2), Highways England, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Crossrail and other. My claimant clients include J P McDougall & Company, Keltbray Rail, Wolseley Plumb and Parts, Suez Recovery and Recycling, The Guinness Partnership, The Arch Company, and St. George (Berkeley Homes).
I act as an expert witness in various settings including public inquiries, compulsory acquisition hearings and references to the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).
