I’m a Partner in our Capital Markets department and co-head of the Manchester office here at Gerald Eve. I specialise in investment property acquisition and disposal. I have also worked with a number of developers and occupiers to deliver speculative and pre-let developments and across a number of occupier consultancy projects which include property footprint rationalisation allowing value to be captured from rental or capital incentives.

Predominantly I specialise within the office and industrial markets, however I’ve been involved with a number of alternative sectors, including Health, Gym and Student Housing.

My acquisition clients include;  BP Pension Fund, KF Investment Management, Daily Mail Pension Fund, Jolivet Group, M&G Real Estate, Columbia Threadneedle and LaSalle Investment Management. I’ve worked on disposals for Northern Trust, Goldman Sachs, Manchester Airport Group, Square Metre, Glenbrook and Custodian. I’ve advised on developments and financing for Chorley Borough Council, Worthington Properties, Aberdeen Standard Investments, BP Pension Fund, St Francis Group, Stoford and Northwood. I’ve worked on portfolio strategies for The Northern Trust, Derwent Estates, OMC Investments and MAG Properties; and footprint optimisation for LDC, Vitality, Total Fitness, Wates Group and Bristow (UKSAR).

MY RECENT PROJECTS

  • Acquisition, Chorley Borough Council – We worked on behalf of Chorley Borough Council to secure, on an off market basis, a Sale and Lease back.  This transaction provided a positive income flow to the local authority and provided an indexed linked growth income stream for the Council for a period of 15 years with a further option to extend the term.
  • Disposal, Goldman Sachs – We worked on Behalf of Goldman Sachs to secure the transaction which achieved a benchmark yield for industrial property within the North West.  The site offered positive rental growth and also longer term redevelopment of the site.  The site was located within close proximity to Media City.
  • Portfolio strategy, Northern Trust – We advised the Northern Trust on the selected combined disposal of a group of properties within the UK.  The assets were a combined mixture of office and industrial parks.  The sale strategy was performed on an off market basis identifying the parties who we believe were best suited to the portfolio. We achieved a price above the clients expectations.
