I am a Lead Partner in the Planning and Development team at Gerald Eve, specialising in development consultancy. I have extensive experience in delivering viable solutions for complex development and regeneration projects, supporting major development opportunities through the planning process both in London and across the UK.
My work focuses on viability and planning policy delivery, including advice on scheme feasibility studies, financial viability assessments (FVAs) for masterplans, regeneration projects, and planning applications (including review mechanisms). I also provide viability responses to planning policies, such as Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), affordable housing, and Section 106 contributions at Local Plan Examinations in Public.
A core area of my expertise is affordable housing delivery, whether through assessing financial opportunities or managing affordable agency disposals and acquisitions.
I have successfully presented as an expert witness on viability and affordable housing at over ten planning appeals for both developers and local authorities. My experience spans a wide range of development use classes, including residential, care, co-living, student housing, build-to-rent, office, hotel, and retail.
