I worked in the Drivers Jonas and Deloitte capital markets team for 12 years from 2004, then joined Gerald Eve in 2016.  Having developed the team’s cashflow modelling capability the portfolio team is now regarded as market leading in terms of analytical underwriting of real estate portfolio transactions and highly complex projects. I have considerable experience in dealing with high tempo assignments where accuracy, transaction management and an understanding of the underwriting requirements is critical to ensure a successful conclusion to a transaction. I have advised over £2bn on both sellside and buyside mandates including some of the most high profile and complex portfolio transactions in recent years.

I advise a broad range of clients including private equity, property companies, investment banks, institutions, syndicates, private investors and banks in the UK.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Falcon & Webb Portfolios – I advised on the acquisition of four south east office buildings for £27.7m. The portfolio was secured off market in challenging market conditions during a period of political and economic uncertainty. This followed the acquisition of a Jersey SPV which comprised six regional office buildings in Chester, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Cardiff and Bristol totalling £25.9m on behalf of the same client.
• Alecta Portfolio – I acquired this portfolio on behalf of Square Metre Asset Management & Goldman Sachs for £350.1m. The portfolio comprised 26 mixed assets across office, retail and industrial sectors.
• Project King – I was the key advisor on M&G Real Estate’s £140m purchase of 46 light industrial estates known as Project King on behalf of their Life Fund. With over 500 tenants, the acquisition advice also included detailed cashflow and analytical analysis of this complex portfolio, including sensitivity and stress test assessments of potential future performance. The transaction won the IAS investment deal of the year award, an industry recognised achievement.
