I’m a Partner in our Planning and Development team based in the West End. I have extensive planning experience and frequently lead multi-disciplinary project teams. My expertise lies in large, often complex, mixed-use developments within Greater London as well as working for Institutions and HEIs.

I joined Gerald Eve as a Chartered Town Planner and Associate in 2012 following six years with Hepher Dixon and five years with Savills. I have a thorough understanding of planning matters affecting the London property market and well-established connections with officers of the London local planning authorities as well as with the GLA.

I’m Planning advisor to a wide range of landowners, investors, developers and occupiers including: Sellar Property Group, Lazari, Landsec, Urbanest, Viridis Real Estate and Almacantar.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

  • Paddington Square, Sellar Property Group – I obtained planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Royal Mail Sorting Office, in the City of Westminster. The process involved significant and ongoing engagement with Westminster City Council, GLA, TfL, Network Rail and local residents and stakeholders. I continue to advise Sellar in respect of amendments to the permission and management of planning conditions and obligations.
  • Project ‘Open Up’, Royal Opera House – Situated within the Covent Garden Conservation Area, the Royal Opera House is one of London’s most important cultural assets and plays host to some of the world’s leading operatic and ballet performances. I secured planning and listed building consent for the works which have now been completed.  Following the approval of Project ‘Open Up’, I have continued to act as planning advisor to the Royal Opera House and have also secured planning permission and listed building consent for works associated with the Deloitte Ignite festivals, which herald the opening of the Royal Opera House season.
  • 250 City Road, Berkeley Homes – I provided planning advice and obtained planning permission for the redevelopment of 15,800 sq m of existing office floorspace to provide a mixed use scheme comprising up to 995 new residential units, up to 7,600 commercial office floorspace (Class B1), affordable workspace, up to 3,650 sq m flexible retail/health centre floorspace (Class A1/A2/A3/A4/D1), a hotel providing up to 190 beds, a crèche, a relocated data centre and new public open spaces and ancillary floorspace within new basements.
