MY RECENT PROJECTS

  • Paris Garden, Southwark Commercial Scheme – I advised Overcourt in respect of the comprehensive redevelopment of the site to provide a 26-storey tower with large public space and flexible retail and restaurant uses at ground and upper levels with a total of c60,000sqm overall. Continued involvement in the site has seen an alternative more contextual 10-storey scheme approved, retaining larger amounts of the existing structure.
  • 4 Brandon Road, Islington Life Sciences – I advised Kadans Science Partners in respect of the comprehensive redevelopment of the site to provide purpose-built laboratory in London’s Knowledge Quarter, King’s Cross. Overall, the building was five storeys and provides c. 5,000sqm of floorspace. This permission adds to Kadans growing portfolio within the Knowledge Quarter with 5-10 Brandon completed and a number of new sites in the pipeline.
  • The former Central St Martins, Camden, Hotel led development – I advised Grange Hotel in respect of the former Central St Martins Site. This included the Grade II* Listed Lethaby Building which needed to be retained and sensitively refurbished. The proposals provided circa 40,000sqm floorspace an uplift of 17,600sqm. The scheme provided 427 hotel keys and array of flexible ground floor and basement uses as well as a separate block containing 34 affordable housing units.
  • Palmerston Court, Wandsworth, Student led development – I advised Urbanest in respect of the comprehensive redevelopment of the site and construction of four new buildings ranging from 12 to 20 storeys. The development comprised a mixed of uses including circa 869 student accommodation bedspaces, flexible office space, retail / café unit, replacement public house and other ancillary uses. The student building will be targeting Passivehaus accreditation
