Hotels are a specialised property type and require a specialist valuer due to the complexities and sensitives in the hotel sector. He possesses an intimate knowledge of the hotel rating system so Rob is perfectly placed to offer expertise in this area. Rob has 30 years rating experience having previously been the Head of the Specialist Licensed and Leisure team at the Government’s Valuation Office Agency. Rob’s team set the Rateable Values of the majority of Hotel, Licensed and Leisure properties throughout London and the South East. Rob was one of the few members of the Licensed and Leisure Panel that coordinated the rates valuation of all the Hotel, Licensed and Leisure classes throughout the country.
Rob is the only retained hotel rating adviser to UKHospitality Association.
