Samantha Wells

My background is in handling large-scale regeneration projects and mixed-use applications over London. My senior officer role at City Hall required significant engagement with the Mayor and Deputy Mayors on a day-to-day basis, as well as Borough leaders, senior Council officers, and other stakeholders, giving me a unique insight and understanding of regional and local government politics and procedures across London. This includes Mayoral call-ins, Secretary of State call-in, public inquiries and Judicial review, as well as Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulation requests.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Mixed use/brownfield projects – I have worked on a number of large-scale regeneration schemes around the South Bank and Nine Elms, including: the Shell Centre, King’s Reach, Elizabeth House, London Fire Brigade Headquarters, Battersea Power Station, Cringle Dock, South London Mail Centre, Atlas, Keybridge House, Bondway, New Covent Garden Market, One Nine Elms, Albert Embankment, Vauxhall Island Site, Oval Gasworks, and Battersea Gasholders.
• Infrastructure projects – I’ve been involved in a number of infrastructure projects including Nine Elms and Battersea Northern Line Extension and Crossrail Over Station Developments at Tottenham Court Road and Hanover Square, Sellar’s Paddington, Bakerloo line station improvements; waste and energy recovery facilities including Beddington and SITA Mitcham.
• Leisure, sporting, health and education – I’ve worked across developments in this sector including Chelsea Football Stadium, the Southbank Centre, British Film Institute, and Royal College of Art, St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College West, Downing student housing schemes, Brunel University, and a number of EFA and Council funded school schemes.
